I truly cannot believe that it is January already. This past year went by so quickly. Here is what has been happening around here since Christmas.
...We got some dill pickles and as soon as I opened the jar it transported me to my grandma's house on Christmas Eve, as she always had dill pickles and ham and cheese sandwiches.
...I took all of the Christmas decorations down and cleaned and organized the living room. I love the clean and put away feeling.

...working on my schedule for the year and getting caught up on my journal writing
...I got this ornament for Michael for Christmas (it came a few days late). It is Robinhood...the old animated kind. Robinhood movie (1991 with Kevin Costner) was part of our first date.

Other happenings around here lately:
- boys watched the Doctor Who Christmas special
- we all watched Stranger Things (this was Michael and my second time to watch...just as good the second time)
- Cam did power point at church...twice
- Michael and I watched The Glass Castle (interesting movie)
- Michael and I watched Amazing Race together again (for the past 3-4 years I have been watching it by myself, because he has just been too busy)
- both boys had dentist appointments
- Michael and I watched The Blacklist (it was so good)
- Mom Smith sent me a text with a photo saying she was enjoying coffee out of the mug we bought for her
- Michael and I had Jersey Mike's subs and watched a few episodes of Criminal Minds (we love that show)
- Michael installed the lift gate bar on Cam's Subaru
- Cam got to do the sample table at work, which he loved doing
- I cut Michael's hair
- Cam did a lot of organizing at work
