Dear Michael:  It is nice that we have a long weekend.

Dear Cam:  I am really happy that they are getting everything cleaned up at work.

Dear Jar:  It is only 2 1/2 months til you graduate from high school...scary!

Dear Me:  I got a lot done these past couple of weeks. Now, I just need to stick to my schedule.

Dear Lily:  Oh how I wish that cutting your hair was a breeze. I am glad your cyst surgery is over, and it is pretty much healed.

Dear Zena:  It is so funny how much you love to be out in the garage. You are right at home there.

Dear Mom:  I cannot believe how much has happened since my last Friday's Letters in September

Dear The Today Show:  I love your show so much. I look forward to being uplifted every single day.

Dear Dinner:  I am making a Hello Fresh meal...it is burgers, fries, and roasted broccoli tonight.

Dear The Voice:  I am excited for this season...as Kelly Clarkson will be on as a coach.

Dear Boys:  I cannot believe how much you two are eating. I am really glad that you are both eating healthy.

Dear Amazing Race:  It has been really fun to watch this season with Michael.

Dear Survivor:  I cannot wait til you start up again next week.

Dear Blacklist:  I have really been enjoying this season...and I have been enjoying watching it with Michael.

Dear simplified life:  I have really been enjoying pairing things down. I have made it so there are not many decorations on things and such. It will be nice when we can redo the living room and dining room and keep it simple.

Dear iced coffee:  I really enjoy you every morning.

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  Thank you for the light rain today. It was a cozy kind of day that the boys and I really enjoyed.

Dear Michael:  I hope that you can soon slow down and just enjoy the weekends.

Dear Cam:  You had so much school work to do this week. I am glad that you are staying on top of things though, and that I don't have to worry about it.

Dear Jar: I cannot believe that you are a senior in high school. Time sure does fly by so quickly.

Dear Me:  I got a lot done these past couple of weeks. I just need to do a deep clean on the bathrooms, but I keep putting it off.

Dear Lily:  Oh how I wish that cutting your hair was a breeze.

Dear Zena:  It is so funny how much you love to be out in the back yard when we are working...and I am really glad that you love your bed.

Dear Grocery Shopping:  I really wish that we had a Trader Joe's here in our town. Grocery shopping would not be that big a deal if we did.

Dear Friday Night:  Everyone is off today. I really wish that there was a good movie to watch.

Dear fall Season:  Oh how I love thee!! I am actually glad that it is fall. I do not look forward to shorter days and bad weather, but I do love the cooler mornings and evenings, the changing of the leaves, and fall decor.

Dear Mom:  I cannot believe that you get to experience this fun adventure!  I think it is going to be such a great thing for you!

Dear Megyn Kelly show: I have really been enjoying your new show...it is so uplifting.

Dear Weather:  I definitely do not feel as motivated when it is gloomy outside. I just need to get my projects done right away in the day, so I don't put them off (yes, I'm talking to you bathrooms!)

Dear Dinner: I really wish that I loved to cook. Do I really have to do this every single day? Boo Hoo!

Dear The Voice: We are excited for this new season. We watched the first episode, and it was really good.

Dear Boys: I cannot believe how much you two are eating. I think you both weigh the exact same.

Dear Costco soups: We really enjoyed you this week. You were a time saver for sure.

Dear Bathrooms:  You will be deep cleaned this week. I promise!

Dear This is Us:  Wow! You were fantastic this week. I look forward to you every week.

Dear Survivor:  You are my favorite show of all time. I loved watching the first episode of the new season this week.

Dear Blacklist:  I look forward to seeing what you bring this season. I loved all of the surprises last season.

Dear House Projects:  I cannot believe how much work Michael has done to get all of the projects done. I cannot wait until they are all done, and he can just relax on the weekends. He deserves it.

Dear Side Screen Door:  We should have put you on when we first put in the side door of the garage. It is really nice.

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  It is really difficult not to be afraid...what is going on in America - the world - is very scary. We have peace in knowing that we are saved...we will go to a better place.

Dear Michael:  I cannot believe that we have a 19 year old child, and that he is in college, and that he is ready to begin dating. WOW! Where did the time go?

Dear Cam:  I cannot believe that you are old enough to ask a girl out on a date. It just does not seem possible. It seems like just yesterday that you were born. WOW! Where did the time go?

Dear Jar:  I am so proud of how you are doing in Algebra. I am so glad that it is clicking with you. I love all of the funny things that you have been saying in youth group.

Dear Me:  I have not been very motivated this week. I have been able to get a lot done, but I have really had to talk myself into getting it all done. I think it is the rainy weather.

Dear Lily:  You are so silly how you snuggle up on the pillow when it is time to sleep.

Dear Zena:  Finally you got used to the door on your igloo. It was so funny how you would not go in there at first.

Dear Grocery Shopping:  I really need to go grocery shopping, but I don't want to at all. Again...I have not been motivated this week. I really need to start going twice a week, but it is really difficult to get in that mode.

Dear Friday Night:  Tonight Cam works, so I am not sure what we will do. When he gets home, we will watch The Middle and Last Man Standing.

Dear Christmas Season:  Oh how I love thee!! I could seriously leave the Christmas tree up all year round. I just love the warmness and coziness that Christmas brings. I love listening to Christmas music and watching Christmas movies.

Dear Mom:  I cannot believe that you do so many Christmas decorations. I just do not have the patience for that...or the motivation.

Dear Hallmark Christmas movies: Thank you for making such clean movies. Sure...some of them may be a little cheesy, but they are good, clean movies.

Dear Weather:  This week it has rained and been very gloomy. It has definitely affected my mood.

Dear Christmas Music Specials: I love the Christmas music specials on TV. Last night Jewel and Leanne Rimes killed it.

Dear American Idol: We look forward to you beginning on January 6. We are sad this is the final season.

Dear Boys: I cannot believe how much you two are eating. I wonder if either of you will get taller.

Dear Cinnamon Roll Candle: Oh, how I love the smell of you.

Dear Steals on Cyber Monday:  I saved $313.00 at JC Penney--2 coats for Michael for $80.00. They would have been around $400.00.

Dear Laundry:  I am on my last load right now. Yahoo!

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  Thank you for the beautiful weather. I have been suffering from allergies to the cotton trees lately, so I have not spent much time outside. I still love to look outside and see the sun shining. It just lifts my spirit.

Dear Michael:  Don't you just wish we could see at least a peek at what God has planned for your next job? It sure would make this whole process easier. I know He will provide...I have full faith in our loving Father.

Dear Cam:  I remember how wonderful it felt to finish my final tests in my senior year of high school. Today you had your final test in Language, and yesterday you had your final test in Spelling/Vocabulary. It was neat to see you so excited about that.

Dear Jar:  I love seeing you in your new shirts you got for Easter. I really love you in the Hulk shirt...as well as the new sunglasses. You get your wisdom teeth taken out next week. I will be glad when that is done.

Dear Me:  I have really been enjoying fresh strawberries...it is my favorite fruit. I have been eating them for breakfast with sliced banana. I have also been having them as a snack. Yummo!

Dear Lily:  She has been enjoying playing with the boys. She is in need of a haircut...I will give her one tomorrow or sometime next week.

Dear Zena:  Well, good for you that the weather has been getting nicer. This means that you will get to spend more time out front with Dad.

Dear Grocery Shopping:  This past week we were able to do the grocery shopping at Trader Joe's. I love shopping there. I really wish that we had one near us. It just makes the whole grocery shopping experience (which I dislike) so much better.

Dear Friday Night:  Tonight we will have personal pan pepperoni pizzas from Pizza Hut (for some reason typing that took me to the Pizza Hut in Mansfield, PA) for dinner. We will watch the movie "Paddington Bear" and "Shark Tank" and "Beyond Shark Tank".

Dear Wisdom Teeth Surgery:  Next week Jar gets his wisdom teeth pulled. I will be glad when this is done. He is also getting close to having his braces removed...he will be so glad when this happens.

Dear Mom:  I am glad that you were able to visit the family in Fresno, CA. I know you had a lot of fun.

Dear Job Search: This sure has been a worrying 6 months...many ups and downs. I keep praying for the right job...the right timing...the right place.

Dear Weather:  We had a few days of rain and a few days of sunshine. Today is a perfectly sunny day.

Dear When Calls the Heart: The new season started this week. Michael and I really enjoyed watching the beginning of the new season.

Dear American Idol: We have really been enjoying this season. We have a favorite, but I am not sure if he will make it to the end or not.

Dear Boys: Today I made the boys peanut butter and marshmallow cream sandwiches. They have not had these in forever. We had an extra container left over from last night (we made fruit dip with marshmallow cream and cream cheese).

Dear Bills: I got you paid today. I have really found a system that works for me. I get all of the bills ready to pay the day before I actually pay them. I record everything in Quicken, and then I write down the payment on the bill. So, the day I pay the bills is just to go online and pay them. It makes it so much easier.

Dear The Flash:  This has become one of our favorite shows. Every episode lately has just been getting better and better. We can't wait to see what the upcoming shows bring.

Dear New Glasses:  I really am so glad that I finally got you. It has made reading the computer and reading books so much better. I don't have eye sensitivity and eye headaches anymore.

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  Thank you for the rain. We have enjoyed the really nice weather this winter, but it is also nice to have rainy days sometimes. This has been a great winter for good weather.

Dear Michael:  I wonder what this week will bring...great job on your job interviews this past week.

Dear Cam:  I am so proud of you for completing Level 12 of Festival Theory in piano. You worked so hard...I really hope that you get a great grade.

Dear Jar:  I love to hear you getting so excited while playing games with the cousins...although sometimes I have to quiet you down...you can get really loud and excited sometimes.

Dear Me:  I organized the dining room last week...I got rid of all of the clutter. I am really happy with the results.

Dear Lily:  You got a haircut yesterday. Those new hand scissor clippers really work. It was so much easier to cut your hair.

Dear Zena:  This week you had a lot of bacon grease on your dog food. I am sure you loved that.

Dear Grocery Shopping:  The boys and I got to do our grocery shopping at Trader Joe's this week...we were near there for Cam's Theory test. I love grocery shopping at Trader Joe's.

Dear Friday Night:  We had pulled BBQ chicken on panini rolls. It was really good. I also made Nutella brownies. We watched Disney shows together as a family. Then Michael went to watch The Blacklist upstairs, and I watched The Amazing Race downstairs.

Dear Frog in Back Yard:  This morning I woke up to you croaking really loudly in the back yard. You sound so pretty. I want to find you so I can see what you look like.

Dear Mom:  Well, hopefully in a couple of weeks you will get your tax refund back and nothing was wrong with it.

Dear Job Search: Michael had two interviews this past week. It sure is nerve wracking. This waiting game is so difficult sometimes.

Dear Weather:  The weather this week was beautiful. We had sunny weather all week until today. Today is a dreary, rainy day.

Dear American Idol: We are really enjoying American Idol now that they are down to the final 12. It is just more fun to watch. We have 2-3 favorites...and they are from the guys group. We don't really like any of the girls.

Dear Dining Room: Wow! This space is so much more inviting now that I really cleaned it out and organized it. I would love to get a round table in this space. I think it would look really nice.

Dear Boys: You are both always eating. You are always hungry. It is crazy. Sometimes, you will have just eaten a large meal, and you come downstairs and want more because you are so hungry. Crazy!

Dear Theory Piano: Hallelujah!!! It is over. Cam, you have finished the final level of your Theory in piano. I am so proud of you. It was a lot of hard work on your part.

Dear Samsung Galaxy 5 Phone:  I love you so much!!! I am so glad that I got you. I love your camera...which was my main purpose for purchasing this phone. I did not care about any of the other features about the phone. I use this for all of my photos now...unless I am taking more professional ones of the boys, or we are on vacation.

Dear New Glasses:  I love you so much. I have not had any trouble now with my eyes since I picked you up a few weeks ago. I should not have waited so long to get my eyes checked. Turning 40 a few years ago certainly changed things regarding my eyesight.

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  Thank you for taking care of us on a daily basis.

Dear Michael:  I am proud of you for not having any sodas this week. Please keep it up.

Dear Cam:  I really like your hair today. It looks really good...and I like the coke shirt. I am proud of you for working to complete the piano theory course.

Dear Jar:  You were so funny this week. You got up early every day to get done with school. One morning you were so tired, that you actually forgot to wash your hair in the shower. You washed your body, but you just forgot your hair. Too funny.

Dear Me:  I am so proud of myself. I worked out every day this week. And let me tell you...my body knows it. I am very sore.

Dear Lily:  Why must you bark at every little thing? We must cure you of this.

Dear Zena:  When Dad and Cam went out to put his car on the ramps, you went crazy. You wanted to be out front with them.

Dear Grocery Shopping:  Why do I hate you so much? I think I might need therapy.

Dear Friday Night:  We had mandarin orange chicken over rice for dinner. We watched our favorite shows.

Dear Frog in Back Yard:  I loved listening to you croak in the back yard. It was so pretty...and for two days in a row. It reminds me of summer when the frogs are croaking at night in the back field.

Dear Mom:  I cannot believe that you were out all day yesterday running errands. You are crazy! I can barely make it for 2-3 hours.

Dear Alaska Bush People: I truly love this show so much. I will really hate for it to end.

Dear Weather:  Well, I think that the rain is finally here to stay...yuk!

Dear The Mentalist: We were so sad this week with what happened...who died. We are so disappointed that this show is ending. It is one of our favorite shows for sure.

Dear Christmas Tree: We still have not taken you down yet. This is really unusual for me. I usually take it down right after Christmas. I just was not ready to do so this year. It seems cozy to leave it up longer.

Dear Job Search: We are excited to see what this next week or two brings. It sure can be difficult to be patient during this time.

Dear Theory Piano: I am so proud of Cam for deciding to complete the theory piano course with his piano teacher (especially since he is not taking piano lessons any more).

Dear Beautiful Battlefields book:  I read one chapter every day this week. Wow! This book is really hitting me personally with what we have been through in latter years, and even with what we are going through right now with the job stuff. The biggest take-away is that we have to just take care of today...let God worry about the future. He already knows what the path is, and where we are going. Why should we waste energy worrying about what is already to be!!!

Dear Books from the Library:  I got a big stack of books from the Library this week.

Dear New Glasses:  I cannot wait to get you this week. I really need you...a lot.

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  Thank you for a lot of positive stuff regarding jobs this week.

Dear Michael:  It was nice that you got to work out of Salem twice this week.

Dear Cam:  I am really happy that you are able to finally drive your car again.

Dear Jar:  I enjoyed that really long hug this morning when you first got up.

Dear Me:  I followed my schedule all this week. I feel like I accomplished a lot.

Dear Lily:  You finally got a haircut today. You needed it so badly.

Dear Zena:  Don't worry...you have two pieces of beef fat coming to you tomorrow morning.

Dear Grocery Shopping:  We did a big grocery shopping at Trader Joe's this week. I wish we had a store close to us.

Dear Friday Night:  We had homemade mandarin orange chicken, and we watched The Flash.

Dear Trader Joe's:  I could shop at you every single day. I really love you.

Dear Mom:  We look forward to getting together this next week.

Dear Mock Cookie Dough: I made a batch of you tonight...it was pretty good.

Dear Weather:  If it stayed like it has been the past few days, I can handle the winters here.

Dear Mochi:  Oh my word! We got some of you from Trader Joe's...you are really good, but weird.

Dear Bacon:  We got some from Trader Joe's, and it was so good.

Dear Five Four Clothing:  Michael loves you...he loves the clothing that he got from you. I admit it is really nice to get clothes for him every month.

Dear The Mentalist:  We all love your show so much...it is one of our favorites. We are disappointed that it is the last season.

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  Where do we go next?

Dear Michael:  I am happy for a lot of the positive things regarding job searching.

Dear Cam:  I love seeing how happy you have been the past couple of days with the comments on your blog.

Dear Jar:  I am glad that you tried with the LEGO competition. I know this was a hard category.

Dear Me:  I hope that I can really follow my schedule beginning this coming Monday. I want to work on getting in shape.

Dear Lily:  You need a haircut so badly. I keep putting it off because it is such a big job.

Dear Zena:  You have been enjoying a lot of bacon grease and beef broth over your food lately.

Dear Grocery Shopping:  I really do wish that I loved to grocery shop. It is such a necessity though.

Dear Friday Night:  We have a lot of shows to watch tonight...The Mentalist, The Middle, Girl Meets World, The Librarian, Alaska Bush People, and Alaska: The Last Frontier.

Dear Pita Pit:  We have not had you for a long time. You were delicious.

Dear Cam's Car:  Dad and you are so ready to be done with the work on your car.

Dear Mom:  We want you to come over one day and spend the morning with us.

Dear Sugar Cookies: I made a batch of you today...and all three boys really loved you.

Dear Weather:  We have actually had quite a few sunny, very cold days this winter. I am not looking forward to the rainy weather.

Dear Sushi:  Oh my word! I could seriously eat you every single day. I love you...especially with soy sauce and wasabi. Yummo! I cannot wait to eat you tomorrow for dinner.

Dear Bacon:  I love you so much. I am not a breakfast eater, but if I could have brunch every day at about 11:30, I would be so happy.

Dear Personality Tests:  The boys love taking these. They are like me--they like to take quizzes. Jar is an ESFP, and Cam is an ISFP. I am an ISFJ, and Michael is an ESTJ.

Dear Christmas Lights: I have left the Christmas lights up in the house. I usually take them down the week after Christmas. This year I wanted to keep them up the whole month of January (since it is the most boring/depressing month out of the year).

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  Thank you for the beautiful weather. I love the cool weather in the mornings and at night.

Dear Michael:  We are so glad that you are home...we are also so glad that you don't travel anymore.

Dear Cam:  It is nice to see you reaping the benefits of working out.

Dear Jar:  You are the most amazing LEGO builder ever. Your new creation is awesome...you deserved to win.

Dear Me:  I have been trying to walk 10,000-15,000 steps every day. I hope that this shows some progress.

Dear Lily:  It was so funny to see and hear you playing with Cam last night...it is funny how you attack his hands.

Dear Zena:  I know that you enjoyed all of the bacon grease we poured over your food.

Dear Cookbooks:  I read some really pretty ones this past week.

Dear Friday Night:  I am so glad that it is Friday night tonight...we are spending time together as a family, watching TV shows and looking at Michael's Chicago photos.

Dear Pedometer:  I have been really trying to get a lot of steps in--this pedometer is awesome.

Dear Cam's Car:  Cam really loves driving you. He does not want to go out in anything else.

Dear Mom:  I am glad that you have a day off next week. You have worked hard these past 2 weeks.

Dear The Middle TV Show:  We love this show so much. It is so funny!

Dear Weather:  It has seriously been the best weather these past few days. It has been sunny and 70 degrees during the day, and 50 degrees in the morning and evening.

Dear Pretzel Crust Pizza:  Wow! This was really good (from Little Caesar's).

Dear Blue Apron:  We can't wait to try some new meals this weekend.

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  We trust in you. You are real to us.

Dear Michael:  I am sorry for what you are going through...I wish I could fix it for you.

Dear Cam:  Thank you for fixing my computer twice this past week.

Dear Jar:  I cannot believe that you are 15 years old next week.

Dear Me:  I have not been enjoying the heat this summer. I am looking forward to cooler weather. I hate saying that though, because that means summer is over.

Dear Lily:  You are so cute. It is so funny how you curl up right next to me in the early morning hours.

Dear Zena:  You were not happy at all that Dad was outside working last night, and he did not bring you outside with him.

Dear Cookbooks:  I hate to cook, but I love to read cookbooks. I got a huge stack from the Library.

Dear Friday Night:  We have some special things planned tonight for Jar's birthday week.

Dear Jar's Birthday:  We celebrate a week-long birthday week. We already did some special things, and we have more things planned.

Dear Cam's Car:  Cam is having so much fun driving you. He wants to take you everywhere...even when it is really hot outside. (there is no air conditioning)

Dear Mom:  We look forward to doing some things with you this month...before school starts again.

Dear Duck Dynasty: You were so funny last night. I can't wait to watch the "before there was Duck Dynasty" episodes.

Dear Weather:  I have loved the somewhat cooler weather these past couple of days...it sure makes for better sleeping.

Dear Last Comic Standing:  We were so glad that Rod Man won. He so much deserved it.

Dear God's Not Dead:  This was seriously one of the best movies we have seen this year. We all truly enjoyed it...and the music was awesome!

Dear Red Robin:  Your burgers and fries are the best. The boys and I had fun together as part of Jar's birthday celebration week.

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  Thank you for helping us with all we got done this past week.

Dear Michael:  It would be so great if you drove those 30 minutes to work everyday.

Dear Cam:  You had so much fun driving "your" car today.

Dear Jar:  I can't wait to see your LEGO creation for the new contest.

Dear Me:  The heat is really getting to me. As I get older, it is harder to tolerate.

Dear Lily:  You got your hair cut this week. You are so cute...and I am sure much cooler.

Dear Zena:  It has been so hot for you this week. Cam has sprayed you and your kennel down every afternoon.

Dear Laundry:  I need to do you today...but I am going to wait until next week.

Dear Friday Night:  I think that we will relax and catch up on our shows tonight. We may do Little Caesar's Pizza.

Dear Saturday:  I am not really sure what the plan for tomorrow is. We need to clean the garage.

Dear Cam's Car:  You ride so smooth. Cam loves you.

Dear Mom:  We plan to meet you for lunch next week. It is neat that you only have to work a couple of hours today.

Dear The Quest: You look like such an awesome show. I hope that we can watch it all as a family.

Dear Weather:  It has been so hot here. I don't want to rush September, but I am looking forward to cooler weather.

Dear Bear Grylls:  I can't wait to watch your new show. It will be awesome to see celebrities in this situation.

Dear Cooking:  It has just been way too hot to do any cooking...nothing even sounds good.

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  Thank you for the nice weather today. The boys have a lot of work to do on the car.

Dear Michael:  It is so good for the boys to spend the day with you working on the cars.

Dear Cam:  I really like your cut-off-sleeve shirt you have on while working on the car.

Dear Jar:  You did not sleep good last night...hence, you are pretty cranky today.

Dear Me:  I really enjoyed walking with the boys this week. I really want to keep this up.

Dear Lily:  You were so lethargic yesterday after your shots. I am glad that you are back to normal today.

Dear Zena:  You are in heaven today...being out front with the boys.

Dear Laundry:  I usually take care of you on Friday...but I will do it tomorrow, since the boys are making a mess of clothes today (working on the car).

Dear Friday Night:  We are not sure if we will get a normal family night tonight...as the boys are working on the car.

Dear Saturday:  I am not sure what we will do tomorrow...it depends if we get the cars done today.

Dear Sloppy Joes:  You smell so good. We cannot wait to eat you for dinner.

Dear Mom:  You are coming over today on your day off. We plan to bring the car home today. Cam is excited.

Dear Prince George: You are so cute. You remind me so much of the boys when they were little.

Dear Weather:  We had really weird weather this week. It was nice at the beginning of the week. Then we had thunderstorms and rain and clouds. Now today it is nice again.

Dear Strawberry Lemonade:  Wow! You were delicious.

Dear Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream:  The boys loved this ice cream. They want me to make it every day.

Dear Hawaii:  You are so expensive. We really want to go though. We have to figure this out. There are so many unknowns; it is hard to plan a trip like this with all of these unknowns.

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  Thank you for the beautiful sunshine. Thank you also for the slightly cooler weather.

Dear Michael:  I miss those early days of simple life in Blossburg. This has been a tough week for me.

Dear Cam:  Thank you for spraying the front of the house today. I loved your Blog post this week. Well done.

Dear Jar:  Thank you for pulling all of the weeds in the yard today. I loved seeing you build with LEGO's this week.

Dear Me:  I need to get more motivation!! I know the hot weather has been somewhat to blame, but there are other things that are getting in the way too.

Dear Lily:  You are at your cutest right now...I need to cut your hair, but I don't really want to cause you look so cute.

Dear Zena:  When the boys were out front washing the truck yesterday, you whined because you wanted to be out there with them.

Dear Laundry:  Two more loads to go, and I am done with my 5 loads of laundry today.

Dear Friday Night:  I don't know what the plan for tonight is. We have a lot of Disney shows we could watch.

Dear Saturday:  I don't know what the plan for tomorrow is either. It all comes down to whether Michael has to work or not.

Dear Olives:  I love you so much. I love to use tapenade in my chicken.

Dear Grilled Pizza:  I really hope you turn out tonight. It is the first time I have tried this on a grill.

Dear Mom:  What a week, huh! I hope next week is much better.

Dear Exercise: The boys and I are going to start walking every day together. I hope that we can keep it up.

Dear Yard:  You look terrible. I have not watered the yard all summer...it is a waste of time. It gets too hot and dry and ends up dying slowly anyway. The boys are happy...they have not had to mow the grass as much.

Dear Weather:  It has been hot all week until yesterday. I hope it does not get that hot any more this summer.

Dear Strawberry Lemonade:  I hope that you turn out. I am making you for Cam. He has been wanting me to make it for a while now.

Dear Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream:  I found this recipe online...I hope that it is really yummy!

Dear Life:  Why does it cost so much to live? God has always taken care of us...we have never wanted for anything...and most of the time we have more than enough. But...it is frustrating how expensive everything is.

Dear Grocery Shopping Bill:  It is costing me so much to buy groceries. There is no cheap grocery bill anymore. It is so annoying. I feel like that is where the majority of our money is going right now.

Dear "Perfect" House:  I love our house...and it really works great for us in many ways, but there are things about it that do drive me crazy. I do wish Michael and I had a bigger bathroom and a walk in closet. I wish Jar had a large area that he could build his LEGO's more comfortably...and leave them out when he is building. I wish we had a piano/music room, since the boys do so much of this. I do wish we had a spot for both our moms to be, and I wish we had more property. I also wish I had a larger kitchen with an island and a walk in pantry. I would also love to have a covered back patio...maybe even an in-ground pool. (because I love to swim so much) I found the perfect house for us this past week. Sometimes I do wish we could just up and do something (maybe not as expensive as that one was, but something a little bit bigger). However, I do want to make it clear that I am very thankful for what God has given us...and I am in no way complaining. God has been good...God IS good!

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  Thank you for the nice weather this week. I have loved it.

Dear Michael:  Thank you for fixing the alternator on the truck.

Dear Cam:  I cannot believe how excited you got about a package coming in the mail with a fan in it for your computer.

Dear Jar:  I cannot believe you grew a couple more inches lately.

Dear Lily:  Your hiding under the couch lately is so comical.

Dear Zena:  You are so happy to be outside with Dad today. You are so content when you are with us.

Dear Strawberry Shortcake:  You were amazing. It took me right back to when I was growing up.

Dear Friday Night:  I don't know what we will do tonight. Maybe we will see if Redbox has a movie.

Dear Saturday:  I plan to do laundry, and the boys plan to work on the car. We have to get it out of here in a couple of weeks.

Dear Olives:  I love you so much. I could eat you every single meal.

Dear internet:  I have been having so much trouble with you lately. It is so annoying.

Dear Mom:  I am glad that you get to come over today. I hope you have a good time and feel relaxed.

Dear Exercise: I am excited to get back to you full force next week. I have really missed how I feel after I am done working out.

Dear Yard:  You look so much better. All of those white flowers in the yard made it look so junky.

Dear Weather:  You were beautiful this week. We had one hot day, but every other day has been beautiful, with cool mornings and evening.

Dear Mandarin Orange Salad:  You are one of our favorite salads. We look forward to eating you today.

Dear Banana Cream Pie: This is one of Michael and Cam's favorite pies. Mom is bringing it today.

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  Thank you for the nice day today for the boys to work on getting the engine out of the Comet.

Dear Michael:  I am praying that God will give you lots of grace during these next few months.

Dear Cam:  I am so proud of you for building your own computer...I never had any doubt that you could do it. You are amazing when it comes to technology.

Dear Jar: Well, you are one more step closer to being able to work on your car. It will be exciting to be able to get the Maverick back into the back yard.

Dear Lily:  You let me sleep through the night last night...thank you so much. I needed that.

Dear Zena:  You wanted to go outside with Dad so badly. You whined and barked until Dad came and got you. Then, you were just happy.

Dear Piano Recital:  We truly are done with piano now. That is very exciting for us.

Dear Friday Night:  I am not sure what we will do tonight. I should probably find a movie for us. Maybe we will just watch Unstoppable or Rudy that we have in our Queue.

Dear Saturday:  We plan to do laundry, cut the boys hair, wash the vehicles, and I guess whatever else needs done. Oh, and Cam has SAT...I know he is dreading that.

Dear Car Work:  I hope that you don't take too long for the boys today. It will be good if we can get it all done by dinner-time.

Dear Frozen Blueberries and Light Coconut Milk:  WOW! You were absolutely delicious this morning. I just blended you together in the blender--it turned into a creamy dessert pudding.

Dear Stress for all our family:  It seems like a lot of us are having stress in our family. This is a hard time for all of us. Money isn't everything, but it sure creates stress when you don't have enough, or even if you know you are going to lose your job.

Dear Exercise: I have really stuck with my routines for 3 weeks now. I feel really good...I just wish the scale would show all of my hard work.

Dear SAT Test:  Well, this time tomorrow Cam will have finished you. He will be so relieved.

Dear Weather:  It is an absolutely perfect day outside. I love it!

Dear Empty Refrigerator:  It is crazy to look in you and see pretty much nothing. It feels like there is nothing we can eat, and yet I have come up with meals all week long.

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  Thank you that we made it through this difficult week of school...only 3 days left

Dear Michael:  This sure is a trying time right now. I pray the whole picture comes into focus soon.

Dear Cam:  I like how you are getting excited about creating a resume' and business plan for a company.

Dear Jar: I love that red jacket on you. It looks so good...one of your best colors.

Dear Lily:  I do not want to give you a haircut...I keep putting it off.

Dear Faux Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough:  I forgot how good you really are. It is hard to believe that your main ingredient is garbanzo beans.

Dear Friday Night:  I look forward to watching Shark Tank tonight. I love that show.

Dear Saturday:  I am not sure what the plan is...I do have to get some groceries for Sunday's Mother's Day dinner.

Dear Laundry:  I usually do you on Friday, but I forgot to do so today. I guess I will have to do laundry tomorrow.

Dear Chipotle:  You were delicious last night. I do wish though that you would lower your sodium content. I can always tell when I have eaten you, even if just a half portion.

Dear Job Stress:  I cannot believe that we are going through this again. I feel so much for Michael.

Dear Weekend: I am not sure what we will get done this weekend because of the weather. I do know that we have to get the camper ready for camping.

Dear College:  Why can't we just take specialized courses in what we want our careers to be, instead of spending tons of money in a lot of classes we don't even need. I feel college is way too expensive. I think you should go for 1-2 years, specializing in specific courses geared toward what you want to do in life as a career. I don't want my child starting out their life with thousands of dollars of debt.

Dear Weather:  Today is very gloomy and rainy. It has been nice lately though.

Dear School:  We only have 3 days of school left until we are done. Yahoo!

Dear Yard:  Wow! You look great right now...so lush and green.

Dear Jesus:  Thank you for the beautiful weather this week. It was so nice...even if it was hot for 2 days.

Dear Michael:  I sure wish we could know what was going on...it is really hard not knowing.

Dear Cam:  Well, only 1 1/2 more weeks until Syllabus...Yahoo!

Dear Jar: Well, only 1 1/2 weeks of school left...I know that you are so ready.

Dear Lily:  You need a haircut so badly...I sure don't want to though. I wish there was a machine that would do it for me.

Dear Fresh Fruit and Whipped Cream:  I cannot wait to have you for dessert tonight.

Dear Friday Night:  I taped two Walker, Texas Ranger for tonight. We will see if the boys like it or not. We also have our regular Friday night shows.

Dear Saturday:  Well, we have a lot to do tomorrow. We are having 7.5 cubic feet of bark dust (mulch) delivered tomorrow morning. We will all be very tired.

Dear Laundry:  I am glad to have you done for the week.

Dear Turkey Burgers:  You were delicious last night. I cannot wait to have you again tonight.

Dear Sweet Potato Fries:  You are so delicious. We are having you for dinner tonight with the turkey burgers.

Dear Weekend: It will be a busy one for sure. We will do bark dust and probably work on the car.

Dear Duggar Girls' book:  I just picked you up from the Library. I am curious to read you. Michael and I love to watch your show.

Dear Weather:  It has just been beautiful. I want it to stay.

Dear School:  We only have 1 1/2 weeks of school left until we are done. Yahoo!

Dear Yard:  You are looking really nice right now.

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  Thank you for helping us get through this week of school. It was a tough week.

Dear Michael:  I am praying for you during this scary and so unsure time.

Dear Cam:  Great job getting your work done all at once and not saving it until later.

Dear Jar: You had a lot of work this week in school. Thank you for not having an attitude and for just sticking with it and getting it done.

Dear Lily:  You wanted that cookie sitting on Dad's chest so badly last night. Your whole body was shaking.

Dear Pineapple and Coconut Oil Smoothie:  You were so delicious this morning.

Dear Friday Night:  Tonight might be a quiet night at home...we are not sure if Michael has to work or not.

Dear Laundry:  I was not in the mood at all to take care of you today. But, the boys need their clean clothes, so I guess I will just have to do it.

Dear Cookies in a Cast Iron Skillet:  I cannot wait to try these today. I am using gluten-free flour.

Dear Weekend: I am not sure what is going on this weekend. I need to catch up on my journal writing.

Dear Cooking:  I have done so much of that this week. I don't want to cook at all today...I don't see that happening though. (especially with these two hunger monsters I have at home)

Dear Weather:  This week was rainy. There were a few peeks of the sun, but it was mostly overcast. It rained really hard yesterday.

Dear School:  We only have 2 1/2 weeks of school left. I can't wait. I know that the boys are excited as well.

Dear Yard:  I don't know if we will be able to mow you this weekend. It is pretty wet outside.

Friday's Letters

Dear Jesus:  Thank you for the beautiful weather today. It was gorgeous!

Dear Michael:  It was nice to have you home early tonight...I just wish that could happen more often.

Dear Cam:  You are doing such a great job with your piano practicing. In just 3 1/2 weeks you will do your Syllabus--that is awesome.

Dear Jar: I love how you keep checking with me to see if our friends have emailed us yet about getting together this month.

Dear Lily:  You were wild at dinner tonight. You must have loved the smell of the BBQ chicken and my turkey burger. You kept running back and forth between us all. I think you were hoping that we would drop our plates of food.

Dear Lemon Bars:  I am going to make you this weekend...I didn't last weekend. I just can't get you out of my mind.

Dear Friday Night:  Yes, you are here. It was really nice that Michael got home early. We will be able to just relax for a few hours tonight.

Dear Mom:  We really enjoyed our breakfast with you this week. I really enjoyed that cafe'. We will have to go their more often.

Dear Easter box from Grandma:  We loved getting you today. It was fun to open you up and dump out all of the contents. The boys loved it.

Dear Weekend: I am not sure what we have planned this weekend. It may be quiet. I do know that I have to cut Lily's hair. I don't look forward to that at all.

Dear Books from the Library:  I have really got a lot of good ones this week. I have really enjoyed reading some of them.

Dear Weather:  This week was rainy, except for today. I really remembered how much more I feel like getting things done when the sun is shining. When it is gloomy outside, I don't have much energy.

Dear School:  We only have 3 1/2 weeks of school left. I can't wait. I know that the boys are excited as well.

Dear Disney Shows:  We had 10 of you in our queue. We are watching them all right now for family night.

Dear Shark Tank:  I cannot wait to watch you tonight. I love this show.

Dear Yard:  You look really good right now. Tonight Michael put the turf builder on the grass. I hope that kills the dandelions and helps the yard to become more full.
