Cam's 23rd Birthday

I cannot believe that Cam turned 23 years old this year. Oh, how the time has flown by so quickly. I like to do special things for them for the whole week of their birthday. Here is what Cam's birthday week looked like:

Jar's 20th Birthday

Jar did not give me much in the way of ideas for his birthday...which was disappointing to me. So, I did my best to come up with some things to do.

The boys went out shopping the week before Jar's birthday, but he only found one sweater while he was out that he liked. They had fun being out together (I was not able to go due to hormone issues)

Here is what I made special for him:

• Seafood Alfredo
• Spaghetti and meatballs
• Keto chocolate cheesecake muffins
• Keto sausage breakfast casserole

He decided to order a bunch of new clothes for his birthday, so he did not have any gifts to open from us.

• 2 pair of Chelsea boots
• pair of ripped medium wash jeans
• Fallout mug from Cam
• $15 from Gma S.
• $20 from Gma Sm.
• $20 from Aunt Sherry (that was stolen out of his card :( )

We celebrated his birthday on Tuesday, August 20 instead of the 18th (because he worked). We got Korean BBQ take-out and watched the Bumblebee movie.

Zena's 10th Birthday

Zena is 10 years old today. I cannot believe it! This is the longest Michael and I have had a dog...ever. I never had a dog growing up for that long and neither did Michael. We had Keesha for 6 years before she got really sick (with what we think was bacteria from the ocean water she swallowed when she was underwater in the tide pools).

Zena has been a wonderful dog. She is always so happy and frolicky. She can sometimes be a little air-headed, but she just wants to be with us and please us. She is wonderful. She dances with me when I go out in the garage to spot Jar in his weight-lifting. She also puts her paw on Jar's foot when he is out in the garage working out with weights...she is trying to get his attention to rub her belly.

She is the dog that Michael picked out when we went to pick out dogs. Jar and I had picked out Keesha 2 cause she was so little and so cute. It is a good thing that we also took home Zena, because she has been the one that has been the best dog for us.

Cam's 22nd Birthday

We celebrated Cam's 22nd birthday. I planned fun things every day for a week. I think he really enjoyed it.

Here is what we did:

• Saturday - We went to see Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald in the theater
• Sunday - We gave him a giant bag of Jelly Belly jelly beans
• Monday - We bought Cam a strings orchestra writing computer program
• Tuesday - I made lasagna and garlic bread for dinner 
• Wednesday - We gave Cam a McGriddle from McDonald's for breakfast
• Thursday - We watched The Imitation Game
• Friday - I got Cam a chocolate protein drink and made chocolate cake with chocolate peanut butter icing
• Saturday - We had Red Lobster take-out, he opened his presents, and we watched Pacific Rim Uprising

My Birthday

Today is my birthday, but around here we celebrate our birthdays for a week or so. One day is just not enough.

On Monday, Cam and I went shopping together. We went to Marshall's, Michael's, World Market, Guitar Center, Staples, Petco, and Target. We also got food to-go at Cafe Yumm.

Tuesday, Cam, Jar, and I went downtown shopping (American Eagle, Hot Topic, Pac Sun, JC Penney, Famous Footwear, and Rue 21) and then to Hobby Lobby, Home Goods, and Best Buy. We got food to take home from Auntie Anne's and Pita Pit.

I picked Mom up on Wednesday, and we went to EZ Orchards, to see Barry, Trader Joe's, Jersey Mike's subs, and MOD pizza (for the boys). I got soup mixes and the classic apple cider donuts at EZ Orchards.

Today...Thursday...is my birthday. Everyone is working today, so we will celebrate my birthday tonight. We plan to watch Paddington 2 and have Korean BBQ.

We plan to go to Oktoberfest tomorrow. I love to go here...mainly to take photos of the boys. We don't really do much there. We walk it quick and take photos and be goofy.
