Zena's 10th Birthday

Zena is 10 years old today. I cannot believe it! This is the longest Michael and I have had a dog...ever. I never had a dog growing up for that long and neither did Michael. We had Keesha for 6 years before she got really sick (with what we think was bacteria from the ocean water she swallowed when she was underwater in the tide pools).

Zena has been a wonderful dog. She is always so happy and frolicky. She can sometimes be a little air-headed, but she just wants to be with us and please us. She is wonderful. She dances with me when I go out in the garage to spot Jar in his weight-lifting. She also puts her paw on Jar's foot when he is out in the garage working out with weights...she is trying to get his attention to rub her belly.

She is the dog that Michael picked out when we went to pick out dogs. Jar and I had picked out Keesha 2 cause she was so little and so cute. It is a good thing that we also took home Zena, because she has been the one that has been the best dog for us.

Zena loves chasing and retrieving the ball. She really enjoyed it on the sand by the ocean. She had a face full of sand when she was done.

Boo is such a cute dog. I saw him years ago on the Oprah show. This dog does not even look real...he looks like a stuffed animal.

A Lily Funny

Today, something funny happened to Lily. She had been rolling around on the couch...she then jumped down from the couch, and both of her legs were through one hole of her shirt. She looked like this...

Cam said seeing her walk like this was really funny. I did not see her this time, but I have seen her walk like this once before.

Lily just got a haircut. She looks so cute and so little.

Paddleboarding for Zena

Zena loves the water. I saw a paddle boarding dog on YouTube. I think Zena would love this. Michael may have to take her for a spin.

Crazy Lily

When Mom comes over, Lily barks at her like crazy. When Mom sits down on the couch though, Lily will climb right up on her lap...just as happy as can be.

I got Lily a new hat from Etsy. She looks so cute in it.

Lily's Favorite Spot

Lily has her favorite spots in the house:

1. On top of a pile of pillows
2. Right beside your leg on the couch
3. On top of our blankets
4. On top of the couch back
5. On top of the couch arm

But, her favorite place of all is on our lap. She looks so happy sitting here with Jar.

Lily Girl

Lily is just so cute. Right now her hair is longer, and she is adorable. She needs a haircut, but I love it when her hair is longer. I put some bows in her hair.

Latest with Lily

Lily is so cute. Last week I had washed one of the blankets in the living room. I placed it on the floor, instead of its normal place in the foot stool. She immediately got on it, dug a nest for herself, and lay down on it.

Baby, it's cold outside

It is really cold outside this week. When it is this cold, we keep sweaters on Lily to keep her warm. Last year, I got this huge stack of sweaters on E-bay for the price of one sweater. She looks so cute in them.
