Life Lately

We have not had tons of stuff going on around here...outside the normal anyway. We did get a few things done around the house. We were all sick a little bit this past week as well. 

• we got Jar's guitars hung on the wall

• I caught Lily sleeping in funny positions again 

• I liked how Jar looked in this shirt...so I made him go outside for a photo

• I made bacon wrapped goat cheese stuffed dates again...the dates remind me of cockroaches 

• I got some more great books from the Library 

• I got some of this to use as a toner on my face 

• I got these mixing bowls as a gift at a bridal shower that I had 23 years ago. I use them almost every day, and I think of my friend Londa, who bought them for me, every time I use them 

• I don't like to waste anything (just ask my family--I make them get a small spatula out to scrape the last of the peanut butter, jelly, or mayonnaise out of the jar) 

• Cam and I went out to get Italian soda's for Jar's last day of school...Cam wore his pajama pants  

• enjoying the Italian soda

• I got some samples of lipstick to try (which I love that you can try first, because it is hard to find the right shade of lipstick) 

• I love this dish soap...it is the best (I cannot stand natural dish soap that does not have bubbles) 

• I made some Hello Fresh meals this week

• I got this for Jar to use to make smoothies (was $295.00; I got it for $67.00 with my coupons and sales) 

• I got my nail polish out to paint my nails (I realize that I only have pink colors)

• this is what we use to protect our teeth 

• this is what Jar's plate looked like on Friday night 

• again...more funny Lily sleeping 

• Jar has been eating really healthy, but one night it all went to pot (he cleaned it back up the next day) 

• I made Michael and Jar pancakes for lunch on Saturday

• More Hello Fresh meals 

I like to clean up as I go, so that there is no mess along the way or at the end

• Michael and Cam went to the store...Cam came home with this 

• another Hello Fresh meal 

• I worked on my schedule for this week 

• I finally painted my nails (I never do this anymore...it is just too hard to keep it up) 

• I got some more great books from the Library 

Other things that happened around here:

• Jar finished school
• Jar practiced some driving
• We watched The Flash, The Middle, and The Voice
• Cam got the last two of his rims for his car (and tried them on and they worked)
• We all got sick...yucky!
