Be kind one to another...Little Things Matter

Be kind one to another...I think that we have forgotten how to be kind to one another. We never know how our kind words can change another person's life. It may have been just what they needed that day. Also, a smile goes a long way. Give someone a smile today and treat them with extra kindness. (with social media, people have chosen to become really mean behind a computer screen. We need to watch our words and be kind to others. We need to remember the quote from our childhood, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.")

Words do make good staircases... Just think of that little kids' show, 'Word World' They make all sorts of stuff out of words :):

Along those same lines as being kind to others, we also need to remember that doing things for others is also important. We need to remember that phrase from our childhood, "Actions speak louder than words." It is usually the little acts of kindness that make someone's day: 1) bringing home a coffee for your spouse as a surprise  2) bringing them home fresh flowers (this is not my favorite, hubby, so don't think that I have changed my mind about this, but some people love fresh flowers)  3) writing a special note to someone  4) fixing a special meal for someone 5) buying a special candy that a person likes  6) buying a surprise gift for someone...just because  7) paying for someone's food in line behind you at a drive-thru  9) how about something that costs us no money...give a really nice compliment to someone else. We never know what those words might mean to someone else  8) _______________________ (you fill in the blanks)

This is so true. It is those little things that a lover can do to make you happy or even put a smile on your face. It's not always about gifts and $$.:

You never know what someone is going through. You could be the one thing that brightens their entire day.:

  1. Just think of how much money we've saved by you not having a love of roses. I agree that a kind word, a smile, or a thoughtful action can make someone's day special.
