Recent Happenings

I got lots of books from the Library. I love the Library.

Spontaneously...we went to Red Robin after church last week. I don't usually do spontaneously very well, because of my anxiety issues. It was fun to do something different.

Last week, the boys went to Youth Group by themselves. WOW!! That was one of the hardest things I've had to do. I don't mind them going by themselves during the daytime, but it is a different story at night.

Michael and I had a date night. We had sushi and watched our favorite Alaska shows. It was a lot of fun.

Later that week, both of the boys were hungry for pizza. Michael picked up two on his way home. We watched some of our favorite shows.

I found a recipe for iced mocha's that is really good. I have tried so many using almond milk that I don't like...but this recipe I really like.

The boys and I went grocery shopping on Friday to get all of the food we needed for the Valentine's Day weekend. I was glad to have their help. Our refrigerator is full...I can guarantee you that it will be nearly empty in just a few days. These boys are eating like crazy.

I got ingredients to make Blueberry Delight...I have not made this in over 15 years. This is a recipe from Michael's mom. I used to make it a little bit when we were first married, but Michael just always preferred mock eclair dessert. I actually threw away the recipe for the Blueberry Delight. I found one online that seemed similar. The boys really liked it, but I still think that they all prefer mock eclair dessert. Plus, blueberry pie filling is expensive - $5.00 a can.

I had a coupon for these little note cards. They are the best thing ever. They are perfect for carrying around in your purse to use whenever needed...they are perfect for writing someone a quick little love note.

The boys got a box from their grandma this week for Valentine's Day. They were pretty excited.

It was a great week.
