Strawberry Shortcake

We had strawberry shortcake all of the time in the summer growing up. We had it for dinner. I don't make it that often, because we try to stay away from white flour, but last night I made some. It was so yummy. Cam had been begging me to make it for a while now.

I make my grandma's strawberry shortcake. It is not sweet...it is biscuit like. I don't like the traditional strawberry shortcakes, where it is a sweet cake with some strawberries and whipped cream. I like mine with the biscuit cake, strawberries, and almond milk. YUMMO!
