Epsom Salts

Epsom salts are wonderful. Like vinegar and baking soda, Epsom salts have so many uses.

Here are the uses for Epsom salts:
  1. Hair volumizer...mix equal parts salt and conditioner. Apply, then leave on for 10-20 minutes. Rinse.
  2. Sunburn relief...2 TBSP salt and 1 cup of water; mix in spray bottle. Spray on sunburn area.
  3. Tile cleaner...make a paste with salt and liquid dish soap; scrub.
  4. Dry lips...scrub salt and vaseline lightly on lips.
  5. Bug bit relief...2 TBSP salt and 1 cup of water; mix in spray bottle. Spray on bite.
  6. Cold and flue relief...take warm bath in salt water.
  7. Sore muscle soother...1 tsp salt in 1 cup of hot water. Cool in fridge. Apply to sore area.
  8. Pedicure...do a salt soak. It will remove dead skin.
  9. Bee sting remedy...2 TBSP salt and 1 cup of water. Soak washcloth in mixture and put on bee sting.
  10. Spa soak...take a warm bath in salt water with some lavender essential oil.
  11. Facial...1/2 tsp salt added to cleansing cream.
  12. Bath crystals for spa bath...add essential oil to 2 cups salt. Mix, and put in mason jar.
  13. Splinter remedy...put a salt compress on the affected area.
  14. Body exfoliator...rub salt on skin before showering.
  15. Deep exfoliation...mix salt and petroleum jelly together. Rub mixture on skin before showering.
  16. Poison ivy relief...put a salt compress on the infected area.
  17. Ice plunge...take a salt water ice bath.
  18. Sleep aid...take a warm epsom salt bath before bed
  19. Swelling and odor...soak in a salt bath to remove toxins.
