Here are the uses for Epsom salts:
- Hair volumizer...mix equal parts salt and conditioner. Apply, then leave on for 10-20 minutes. Rinse.
- Sunburn relief...2 TBSP salt and 1 cup of water; mix in spray bottle. Spray on sunburn area.
- Tile cleaner...make a paste with salt and liquid dish soap; scrub.
- Dry lips...scrub salt and vaseline lightly on lips.
- Bug bit relief...2 TBSP salt and 1 cup of water; mix in spray bottle. Spray on bite.
- Cold and flue relief...take warm bath in salt water.
- Sore muscle soother...1 tsp salt in 1 cup of hot water. Cool in fridge. Apply to sore area.
- Pedicure...do a salt soak. It will remove dead skin.
- Bee sting remedy...2 TBSP salt and 1 cup of water. Soak washcloth in mixture and put on bee sting.
- Spa soak...take a warm bath in salt water with some lavender essential oil.
- Facial...1/2 tsp salt added to cleansing cream.
- Bath crystals for spa bath...add essential oil to 2 cups salt. Mix, and put in mason jar.
- Splinter remedy...put a salt compress on the affected area.
- Body exfoliator...rub salt on skin before showering.
- Deep exfoliation...mix salt and petroleum jelly together. Rub mixture on skin before showering.
- Poison ivy relief...put a salt compress on the infected area.
- Ice plunge...take a salt water ice bath.
- Sleep aid...take a warm epsom salt bath before bed
- Swelling and odor...soak in a salt bath to remove toxins.
