We got up on Saturday and just hung around until 11:00--we had eggs and chicken and apple sausage for a late breakfast. We then headed outside to do some yard work. The yard really looked nice when we were done.
Below is taken after we finished. We will work on the front yard next weekend. We ran out of room in our yard recycle can.
Here is Lily resting outside in the back yard after we finished the yard work.
This is what my counter top looks like most times--the boys and their LEGO's.
The youngest did this awesome LEGO with a four-wheeling scene. I love it!!
I did lots of laundry, Michael washed the cars, and we had steaks and corn cooked on the grill. We also had roasted potatoes and a fondue dipping sauce for the steak and potatoes. Yummo!
Michael brought home some Coffee-mate Caramel Macchiato creamer. When we went camping, we stopped everywhere to find some, and we could not find any. It is really the only creamer that I like. So, it was nice to wake up on Sunday and have some coffee.
Sunday afternoon was spent watching a Surviving Alaska TV show. Michael and I love it--the boys? not so much!! On Sunday evening we visited a church (we are searching for one). Sunday evening we watched some HGTV and then went to bed.
It was a good weekend.
Ahh, if only weekends could last longer! But, we worked, played, and prayed! That's how a weekend should be.
