Horse Collection

When I was growing up, I loved horses...a lot. I read every book there was about horses, and I even collected model horses. I loved them.

My grandma made me a horse quilt one year for Christmas. I loved that horse quilt so much. I used it so much that it eventually just fell apart.

I still love horses a lot. I have really only been able to ride horses a couple of times...one of the times I rode a horse turned into a really funny story I'll share sometime.

These are like the model horses that I once collected but had to sell at a yard sale because of no space.

Funny Lily

Lily is so funny. Sometimes she does such funny things. When Cam plays the piano, she goes over and sits down next to him. I don't know if it is because she wants to be with Cam, or because she feels the vibration in the floor.

She loves her tiger toy. We can just growl at her, and she will go get that tiger. She loves for us to throw her tiger. She will chase it, and grab it around it's neck, and bring it back to us to do again. We love her. She is so much fun.

January Goals

These are my goals for January:

• Take down the outside Christmas decorations
• Take down the Christmas decorations inside
• Plan meals for the month
• Plan some special activities
• Thoroughly clean the house
• Eat some new meals
• Orthodontist appointments for boys
• Read 2 books
• Exercise daily
• Lose 5 lbs.
• Cleanse once a week
• Blog daily

Pillows

Finding the right pillow is the most difficult thing to do. Michael and I had the most difficult time when searching for pillows. We ended up buying and trying close to 15 pillows. This is what our bed looked like at one point. Crazy!

Time Destroys All Lego

Jar has built a new LEGO. He is so good at building. I really like all of the detail. The clock is by far my favorite thing on this LEGO. The title is "Time Destroys All."

Favorite Movies

We love really good animated movies. We love almost all of the Pixar movies. 2 of our favorite movies are Brave and Hotel Transylvania. They are so well done.

Teeth Routine

I tend to have trouble with my teeth. I have done a lot of research on this, and I have found this routine to be what is recommended to keep your teeth healthy.

1. Brush your teeth with Crest Cavity Protection Regular Paste Toothpaste
2. Rinse with Listerine at night
3. Rinse after Listerine with Act Fluoride rinse with no alcohol
4. After any sweet, eat 1 tsp. of Xylitol

Goals

I have not really done New Year's Resolutions. I just like to set goals for the year. My goals this year are...

1. Read the Bible daily
2. Find "our" church home
3. Go to lunch once a month with Mom
4. Write letters to the boys
5. Exercise 6 days per week
6. Cut out sugar
7. Cut out wheat
8. Cut out dairy
9. Eat out less
10. Go to Canada
11. Go back to Manzanita
