I always loved the first day of school when I was growing up. I loved taking all of my new school supplies and using them. I loved seeing all of my friends. I loved still being able to play outside on recess...because it was still really nice outside. September has always been my favorite month (I just love the weather and everything that goes on in September. It is the beginning of fall, which is my favorite season). I am sure that most kids love getting new clothes for school, but our school had uniforms...so I never experienced that. My boys have always homeschooled, so they have never experienced that either.
I love the fall pictures. Boy, they surely do bring back very special and fond memories. I do miss the fall back in PA, too. Love you, Mom
