We have had a very busy past two weeks. We celebrated Cam's 20th birthday...and we always celebrate all week long. That means that for me there was a lot of cooking and baking of Cam's favorite things. Cam had a lot of school and worked quite a bit...his work is very busy this time of year. Jar kept busy with school and guitar playing and computer time and chores. Michael is very busy at work, and I am just always keeping everything running smoothly at home...and finding things to organize (which is my favorite thing to do).
*I made Cam some chocolate peanut butter no-bake cookies for his first day of birthday celebration
*I made German pancakes for Cam's second day of his birthday celebration
*We went out to get coffee and do some shopping for the third day of Cam's birthday celebration
*While shopping, we found some great Christmas clothing
*and we saw some great Christmas room set-ups
*with a cute model sitting on the bed
*again...more Christmas clothing try-on's
*Cam picked up a treat at Trader Joe's
*I got some great books from the Library
*We had a Thanksgiving meal on Cam's third day of birthday celebration
*Michael got a box of suits and ties from his Uncle David...what a blessing!
*I made french toast for Cam's fourth day of birthday celebration
*I make a steak fondue dinner and a banana cream pie for Cam's fifth day of birthday celebration
*the fifth day of Cam's birthday celebration was his actual birthday, so we opened presents and watched some shows together
*What Cam got for his birthday:
- External hard drive
- Car charger
- Polaroid camera film
- Swimming board shorts
- Money from Grandma's
- Money from Aunt Sherry
- Rei gift card from Grace
- Homemade cards from all of us
*I made some hot chocolate with whip cream
*I made symphony brownies for Cam's sixth day of birthday celebration
*We went to Cam's work for breakfast for his seventh day of birthday celebration
*We also went to see Fantastic Beasts movie on his seventh day of birthday celebration
*I got a package in the mail with some snacks
*I got more books from the Library
*I took everything out of my closet and organized it
*Finished organized closet
*Cam and I got some coffee after we finished running errands
*Jar hung my baseball hats up in my closet for me
*I also cleaned out and organized my dresser drawers
Other things we did these past two weeks:
- Michael did Black Friday shopping (Best Buy, Target, Sportsman's Warehouse, Dick's Sporting Goods, Sears, and Costco)
- Michael got Mom's car taken car of (after brakes locked up when he was driving it--had to call tow truck)
- Michael and I watched "The Sea of Trees" movie
- We had tuna fish sandwiches and a veggie tray while watching "Nine Lives"
- I paid bills and did lots of laundry
- I watched the new "Gilmore Girls" reunion show on Netflix
- Cam ran in to a curb and ruined one of his tires on his car 😟
- Cam asked her to a movie, and she asked him to help hang Christmas lights 😉
