We began Friday night with our favorite family shows and shrimp cakes with arugula salad. Michael and I also watched some of our favorite shows.
On Saturday, Michael got some projects done around the house. I made chili for dinner. We watched Shark Tank.
While we were getting ready for church on Sunday morning, we had the shower leak through the smoke alarm again. Michael took it apart...but like before could not see any water on the pipes. That was not a good way to start our Sunday morning.
We went to Sunday School and church. The boys got some journals to use in their Sunday School class. The teacher wanted them to be more involved in what they are learning. You learn more by being involved and doing. I loved what they did in their journals.
Jared leaned over during church and asked me what was for lunch. He is always thinking about food. I think that his Grandma Smith is rubbing off on him.

After church, we ran some errands and then got Panda Express. The boys spent time with their cousins online, and Michael and I rested. I watched Hallmark movies all afternoon. I also made some snacks for the Superbowl.
At 6:00 we came together to watch the Superbowl game. We enjoyed some snacks.

It was a good game. We were really disappointed that Seattle Seahawks did not win...and they should have. What a terrible way to lose the game!
Michael really caulked and sealed the shower spout...we hope that this works.
It was a good weekend. It was nice to be able to relax a little bit.
