When the boys were little, they made Michael a bracelet one year for Father's Day or something. They also made one for his dad when he died. He was buried with it on. Michael wears the bracelet the week of his dad's death anniversary, and he also wears it the week of Father's Day.
I lost my life-long best friend the day my father died--and even after almost 10 year, it still seems surreal.
