When Jar was around 3 or 4 he just was not learning the concept of swimming from Michael or I. I would try and try to teach him, but he just did not get it. He was not scared of the water at all. He would do cannon balls off the side of the pool and use his goggles to look underwater. He just did not get the swimming thing.
Finally, one day while we were at a friends house in Florida, Cam said, "Mom, let me teach Jar how to swim." I said, "okay, go ahead." I am not kidding when I say that within 15 minutes Cam had taught Jar how to swim, and Jar was swimming in the deep end. I would not have believed it if I had not seen it with my own eyes...those crazy kids.
Ok, so in that second picture (the cannonball one), he looks like he 's sitting on the water. That boy has always been a fish.
