Being short

I am short. I have been 5'3" since I was about 13 years old (sometimes when I measure, it only says 5'2"). Being short has wonderful advantages...I would hate to be taller than Michael.
 Other advantages are:
  1. I can ask other people to do things for me..."Cam, can you reach that up on the fridge for me?"
  2. I have plenty of leg room in a car or an airplane
  3. I don't bump my head on things very often
  4. I can sleep on the couch without my legs having to hang over the side
  5. I can be taller just by wearing heels
  6. I have less chance of being hit by lightning
But there are a lot of disadvantages to being short:
  1. I cannot reach much of anything...I am constantly asking for help
  2. I can't see over the person's head in front of me (this is not good in movies or in church)
  3. I cannot see anything when I am in a crowd of people
  4. My feet hardly ever touch the floor when I am seated (this is the pits)
  5. Almost all clothing that I buy is too long...that is aggravating
  6. You may not be tall enough to ride the rides at an amusement park
  7. My neck gets tired because I am constantly looking up at people
  8. Everyone in my family is taller than me

  2. Hey, they say as one gets older, we shrink! I only measure 5'3" also.
Wish I was there for breakfast. I love sweets. Those cinnamon rolls looked delicious! I had cereal this morning. At least I did eat. The pastor gave me a couple of days off since I was at church with our Easter musical presentation last week from Wed. - Fri. Performance on Sat. & Sun. I jumped at being off even though I have to be at church council tonight at 6:30 p.
