Beautiful Day

Yesterday was a wonderful day. I was supposed to have Jury duty yesterday, but they settled outside of court, so I did not have to go. Michael had taken the day off to take me to Jury duty and then spend time with the boys. Since he had the day off, we decided to make a special day of it.

It was a beautiful day outside yesterday. It was 65 degrees and sunny.

We headed to Panera Bread at 10:00 for breakfast. The boys had cinnamon rolls; Michael had a bagel, pecan cinnamon roll, and 1/2 of a spinach and bacon quiche; I had 1/2 of a spinach and bacon quiche and an iced coffee. It was delicious. I also took our questionnaires to fill out. We had a lot of fun doing that.

After breakfast we headed to the movie theater to see Captain America. The boys were very excited to see the movie. Their cousins had already seen it. (funny thing about that: the cousins had seen Captain America a week earlier, and they had also gone to Panera Bread for breakfast before the movie--we did not know that until after we had gone).

After the movie, we stopped by Best Buy to see if we could get a receipt to return an item that was no longer working. We had planned to send it back to the company, because we did not think that we could return it to Best Buy (we had owned it for 3 months). Fortunately I remembered the date of when we bought it. They found the receipt immediately, and we were able to get store credit. Cam bought another of the same product, and because it was cheaper than when we bought it, we were also able to buy Ender's Game.

We then stopped by Wendy's for Frosty's, and then we stopped by the Trampoline Park to check it out. The boys want to do this with some friends.

We went home to do some yard work, we fixed dinner, and watched a new show called American Dream Builders. It was a really fun day.
