Winter Olympics

I have been enjoying watching the winter Olympics. It has been so great to see people reach their goals and so inspiring to hear their stories. I have enjoyed watching the US bobsled team, Bodie Miller on his downhill skiing, Shaun White in snowboarding, and Charlie White/Meryl Davis in ice dancing.

I asked the boys what they would want to compete in if they were in the Olympics. Here is what we all said:

•  Jar-Half-pipe Snowboarding
• Cam-Half-pipe Snowboarding or Bobsled
• Michael-Bobsled, Speedskating, Snowboard Cross, or the Biathlon
• Amy-Downhill skiing, Biathlon, Speedskating, or Snowboard Cross

I have really enjoyed watching Charlie White and Meryl Davis in ice dancing. They are so smooth and make it look so effortless. I am so glad that they were able to win a gold medal. I love how humble they are and just how kind they seem to be. I love their smiles.
