Valentine's Day

So, we began our Valentine's Day festivities at 6:00 p.m. (I made the boys a special breakfast, but then everything else began at 6:00)

I made steak, mashed potatoes, and salad for dinner. The steak was so juicy and tender. The mashed potatoes were delicious. We also had sparkling grape juice. We like to have that for special dinners.

Michael brought me a dozen pink roses. I have never had that before. He knows that I don't like to receive flowers as a gift, but he had never done a dozen roses before, and he wanted to do it. They are really pretty in my blue mason jar.

After dinner, we watched two movies: 42 and Grace Unplugged. We really enjoyed both of them.

I got the three boys gifts. I got Jar a Castle LEGO set, I got Cam two piano books and a pen case, and I got Michael some running shoes. I think they really liked their gifts.

During intermission the boys had heart shaped brownies and vanilla ice cream.

It was a really fun, relaxing evening.
