Devotions

Today I had a really great devotions. I read Matthew 6:1-34. It was jammed packed with all kinds of wisdom. Here is what I took away from my time in God's Word today.

1. Do good to please God, not to look good in man's eyes
2. Pray quietly/secretly. Don't pray big words for others to hear and praise
3. God already knows what we need
4. Don't lay up treasures here on earth
5. Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also
6. You cannot serve God and man
7. DO NOT WORRY about your life
8. Seek the Kingdom of God first
9. DO NOT WORRY about tomorrow. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble

Wow! There is so much truth packed into this chapter. I love it.
