Birds...the sound of spring

The weather has been great here this week. It has been very sunny and warm. You would think that we were approaching spring, when in fact it is only January. This morning, when the sun was rising, I heard the birds chirping outside. With the sun shining, it really felt like a spring day. I loved it. It reminded me of the beautiful songbirds in Pennsylvania. They had some of the most beautiful birds. My favorite that I heard every single morning outside my bedroom window was the Pennsylvania Black Capped Chickadee. I love that sound. I have not heard that in many years now, and I sure do miss it.
