Since my dad just passed away, I seem to be reminded even more of my grandma (my dad's mom). We were so close to her...as we lived just around the corner from her. The boys loved her. They used to love to swing on the arm of her treadmill.
One time in one of our conversations, I found out that Grandma had never had a birthday party ever. Well...I decided to surprise her with a party. I bought a cake and birthday hats. I also bought her some presents. We sneaked down to her house and knocked on her door. She was so surprised. She was even a good sport and put on the birthday hat. I think she really enjoyed it. Now that she is no longer here with us, I am so glad that I did that small thing for her.

Such great memories fro such a great grandma! I know you and the boys enjoyed time with her, and she with you all.
