First Night in Leavenworth
We got in to Leavenworth a little later than we had planned...due to bad weather. The pass at night was a little scary. We had planned to eat at a restaurant in town, but we were so tired that we ordered food at the motel restaurant and ate in our room, while watching TV. That ended up being some of the best food that we ate on the trip. It was really good.

Driving the unfamiliar pass in pitch black was definitely stressful, but seeing those inviting lights as we finally got to town put all the stress away...and my steak from the hotel restaurant was one of the best I've ever had.
