My Morning Devotions

Today in my morning devotions I read Exodus 12:1-13:16. It told how the Israelites were slaves in Egypt for 430 years or so, and then God delivered them. He was faithful to them. I use the Inspirational Study Bible by Max Lucado, and the lesson today was to be thankful to God. Think of all the little things that God has done for you.  Be thankful. I have used a journal to record all of the things that God has done for Michael and I. I write even the smaller things, like God provided a used refrigerator for us for $300.00. I also write the big things, like we got a really big refund and we were able to buy our camper.  I like to read back on these and remember the goodness of God.  We do tend to forget all of the wonderful things that He has done.
