Life Lately

It has been a crazy past two weeks. Michael has been busy with work and also busy working on his car. Cam has been super busy with college work and also super busy at work. Jar has been busy with school, chores, and working out with weights. I have been busy taking care of the house and taking care of Zena...because she had surgery.

...these end tables we have in our living room are 38+ years old (my parents had them for 15-20 years when we bought them, and we have now had them for 23 years). They are still in great shape...not my style really any more, but we will replace them sometime when we get new living room furniture.

...I cleaned off my kitchen counters, so I got this basket to hold fruit

...Zena had to wear a shirt after her surgery (so she would not lick her wound)

...I got this egg cooker (finally I can make hard boiled eggs that peel perfectly)

...I made a shrimp pesto dish (it was delicious)

...Lily is so goofy

...Zena had her surgery on her skin tag (it looks really good)

...I've been using my diffuser lately (with a Christmas oil blend that I made up)

...I got some great books from the Library

...our driver to and from church (he had to wear my sunglasses)

...Jar in his camo outfit

...I have returned to juicing again (the boys are happy)

...Michael saw this on his way to his car after work

...Cam and I went to the Library and took a walk at the park there (we took some pictures)

...Jar got new snowboarding gear from Evo. Here are some photos of the snowboarding shop and of Jar when he was trying out the boots at home

• Michael worked on his car (control arms)
• We had Chipotle and watched Last Man Standing and The Flash
• Cam went to YAM
• Cam filed his taxes
• We filed our taxes
• Michael got his car aligned at Sears
• We went to Red Robin after church
• Michael and I went to Small Group (Michael did the kid's lesson)
• Jar had small group at Youth Group (they went for pizza)
• Michael and I watched the new 24 Legacy TV show

• Cam struggled with anxiety at work about the closing shift (he talked with Colleen)
• Pastor's message on "Ultimate Joy" was fantastic
• We had Subway for lunch
• Boys went to Youth Group (it snowed on their way home)
• Michael and I watched the movie Red (we loved it. it was the TV version, so not much language)

Life Lately

We had a busy past two weeks. Michael worked so much. Cam had a lot of school work and was really busy at work. Jar had a tough two weeks of school. I just try to keep everything running smoothly at home, so everyone else is taken care of when they are so busy.

...I made a really good dinner (ribs in the crockpot, smashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, and garlic bread)

...I still take snacks for the boys when we go out (I have done this since they were just little)

...We went to Trader Joe's, Costco, and the downtown mall

I had to wear these huge bug glasses cause Jar forgot his sunglasses and had to wear my normal ones

...Michael and I went on a date for Valentine's Day weekend

in the summer we will come here and sit outside to eat

...Michael's friend when he works outside

...Michael washed the truck

...Cam got these two Star Wars shirts when we went to the downtown mall

...Cam brought me home on Valentine's Day this chocolate covered strawberry from work 

...Zena has surgery this week to remove this huge skin tag (poor girl)

...I have wanted this shelf for the past 6-9 months, but I did not want to pay the price they were asking. I waited and waited and kept watching and watching. I picked it up this past week for 30% off.

...The boys and I picked this up at Costco this week.

...Michael has been working on his car and been stressed out. I made some brownies for us.

...Michael had to work on the car again (replace the upper and lower control arms), so I made him french toast for breakfast

...Jar and I went grocery shopping. Here are the greens drying on the counter

...The boys and I saw this company on Shark Tank, so we had to give them a try. They were pretty good (way too pricey though...I would not buy again. They were not that good)

...Cam has been taking a lot of product photos and entering them into contests. He took some of my makeup and took these photos
