Fall Festivals

I love Fall Festivals. When we lived in PA, our church had a fall festival every year. This collage of Fall Festival photos reminds me of that time. I miss that a lot.

Our House and Organization

I organize our house 2 times a year. I cannot stand clutter and I like everything in its place. I always feel so much better when I am done.

I love to read. I finished a great book a while ago. It would not normally be a book that I would be interested in much at all. It was a book on a girl who graduated from college and could not decide what she wanted to do with the degree. She then decided to go to culinary school to become a food writer, not a chef. The name of the book is "White jacket required". I do not like to cook at all, so you would think that I would not be interested in this book at all. I found it engaging. I follow her blog now, and if we lived near each other, I think that we would be good friends.

Dog Whisperer

We've always loved watching the "Dog Whisperer" with Cesar Millan. It is amazing to me that just like Nanny 911, it is the parents/adults that need to be fixed.

My favorite quote by Cesar Millan is:

"I rehabilitate dogs; I train people."

. . . isn't that the truth.

Rock Love

I have this love of finding really unique rocks when I go to the coast. One time Cam found me a really cool heart shaped rock and gave it to me. In May, I found a rock that was in the shape of a "C". I took it--standing for "Cam" of course.

I sent both the boys out to take some photos of the rock for me. Here is what they came up with:

The Boys Room

We redecorated the boys room about 2 years ago. I really like the finished product. We now need to update the rest of the house.

It took us quite a bit of the month of July to get the boys college room finished. It is really an office/study room for them. It really turned out great, but we have never had a project take so long (those crazy pipe bookcases).
