Life Lately

There has not been much happening around here...again it is much of the same. Michael is very busy at work. The boys are busy with school and college and work. I try to keep everything at home running smoothly...even when I am feeling under the weather.

Here is a glimpse into what is going on around here...

I made homemade peanut butter eggs...they were delicious

this was a fun read

I made the boys french toast on Saturday for breakfast

• I took some fun photos of Jar

• There was a beautiful rainbow one day

• Jar played a little bit of Wii...he has not done this in a few years

Michael picked these up at Costco...delicious

• I had delicious raspberries and blueberries for breakfast 3 days in a row

Cam and I split this...it is the best

the boys got goodie bags from Gma

• Jar worked on getting all of his Lego's sorted...he wants to enter a contest next week

this was Cam's plate...full of candy wrappers

• I was sick, so I did not go to the Easter service. I took photos of the boys before they went to the Easter service

• I made a roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, and roasted carrots Easter lunch. It was delicious

Some other happenings around here:

• Cam went to a few parks to take more photos
• I feel like I am constantly fixing food for these monster boys...they are constantly eating
• We watched our shows (The Flash, The Voice, American Idol, Little Big Shots, The Middle, Last Man Standing, The Willis Family - one of our favorites)
• I am watching Jill and Jessa: Counting On (I am loving it)
• I watched more Presidential stuff (it is quite ridiculous what is going on)
• I made the boys chipotle egg and bean burritos a few times
• I was under the weather for about 5 days
• Cam went to college group
• We got take-out lunch at a local favorite spot with Mom
• We watched Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 2

Life Lately

Again, just like the last post I posted, there has not been much outside the ordinary happening around here. We have been busy with school, college, and work.

I did make some of the Hello Fresh meals...they were delicious.

• We have been watching our shows...The Voice, American Idol, Last Man Standing, and The Middle
• I have been watching the Presidential debates and the news coverages of the Primaries
• Cam has had a lot of college work, as he wrapped up his two classes last Friday
• We had to visit the Orthodontist for Jar to get his wire fixed
• We had to go to REI for the boys to get snow gloves for their snowboarding trip
• Jar played the cajone in church
• Michael has been working a lot of overtime
• The boys and I went to Payless so Cam could buy some new work shoes and sneakers
• Michael built (after I came up with the idea--I did not want him working late at work. I wanted him to at least be home) a hinged desk in our room (we will stain it come summer)

• The boys went snowboarding with the college/youth group at church. They were both so excited to do this. The weather was not the best for snowboarding, but they still had a great time.

Life Lately

There has not been a lot of stuff outside the normal going on around here. Both boys are busy with a lot of school work, Michael is busy with work, and I am busy with keeping it all together at home...packing breakfasts and lunches for everyone, making dinner for everyone, grocery shopping, figuring out menus, paying bills, recording receipts, keeping the house clean, washing tons of dishes and laundry, etc. There has also been church, youth group, fixing cars, mowing the lawn, filling out forms, watching our shows, family nights, and much more.

• Cam did another Sunday of Power Point at church (this makes for a long day)
• Michael finished SUV stereo system
• We watched Downton Abbey
• I watched Big Stone Gap

• I continued to watch debates and news reports on the presidential race
• Cam locked himself out of his car...twice (poor guy)
• Jar and I made workout playlists
• Cam took more photos around town
• Michael and I tried a new Sunday School class
• Michael and I watched The Intern...and loved it

• Michael and I had some date nights at home (When Calls the Heart and Signed, Sealed, Delivered)
• We all watched 'our shows' together (The Middle, Last Man Standing, American Idol, and The Flash)
• We watched Fuller House (boys did not love it, so I will finish it-disappointed in inappropriate dress)
