Journals

I love to journal. I have kept a journal for close to 30 years now. I love to read back in my journals to see what was going on in our life at that time. I don't have as much time to journal as I would like, but I still try to keep them up as much as possible.

Special Gifts

One of my favorite things is when Michael brings me home little gifts from work. At his other job, he would often bring home pens or tablets or other unique things from vendors. He does not have that at his job now, but occasionally he will bring home a treat for me. Last night he brought home a cupcake from work. The cupcake was from a bake shop that had been on Cupcake Wars on TV. I thought that was really thoughtful of him. Thank you.

5 Years Old

Zena turned 5 years old this month. We have almost had her as long as we had Keesha 1. Keesha 1 was 6 years old when we had to put her down. I thought that I would put up some photos of when Zena was a puppy. We had her sister Keesha 2 for a year and a half, but we had to give her to another family, because she was a pill. She made Zena a bad dog. They were partners in crime together.

Junk

The not so good thing about the Holidays is the junk food you end up with around the house. We all need to do a big cleanse.

Christmas Day

Christmas day was fantastic. We did not have to go anywhere. We stayed in our pajamas all day long. We got up and got ready. Then we read the Christmas story, sang some Christmas songs, said what we were thankful for that year, and prayed. We then opened presents and had oatmeal and ice cream...which is our tradition for Christmas morning. I made a brunch casserole for lunch, and I made English muffin pizzas for dinner. I also made homemade chocolate peanut butter ice cream for dessert. We watched some Christmas movies, and the boys played their new Wii games, played computer, and Cam played some of his new piano music. Here is a look at our day in photos.
