Moving Mom

Well, we finally got Mom's stuff moved into storage yesterday. This is a really exciting time. This is a difficult thing for her, but I really do believe in the end, when we look back, we are going to see what a great thing this is for her. She will be living with Kyle for now, and then we will see what happens.

I am really excited for her to downsize and simplify her life. I really hope that she embraces this and that she embraces this new chapter in her life. I think downsizing and simplifying her life will allow her to just enjoy life instead of always having to take care of things...her house, her stuff, and her property. I am excited for her. She has done some downsizing already, but we have a long way to go. It will just be nice for her to have less stuff to take care of and keep clean. That is a good thing...in my opinion.

Life Lately

It has been busy around here lately. Cam has been very busy with school. Jar has had to help with a lot of projects around the house. Michael has been busy traveling and working on lots of projects around the house. I have been organizing the whole house and keeping everything running smoothly at home.

Here is what has been happening around here:

...We went to see Thor:Raganok

...I made an absolutely delicious fall pear salad

...Michael worked more on Jar's Jeep (the garage is a mess)

...I worked on getting my Christmas binder organized

...Michael and Jar installed the new headlights on the Jeep

...Zena got a much-needed bath

...Jar cut his apple up all fancy-like

...I got Jar a tree for his room

...I had only planned on putting up this small white tree, but then I got going and decided to put up all the decorations

...I got this book, and I cannot wait to go through it

...Jar put together the downstairs TV cabinet

...Michael and Jar moved everything, so they could put up the new TV and such

...I am finally parting ways with these remaining bears that Mom got me. I have hung on to them because they all mean something, but these have never really been my style. I am trying to really simplify at home, so I am taking a photo to remember them, but I am letting them go.
