Life Lately
I haven't blogged lately because I have been busy with house projects, things with the boys, and organizing the house. Here is what has been happening here lately...
...the boys love this game (they only had to spit out one or two of the yucky jelly beans)
...we finally got the collage wall done
...the boys want to go snowboarding, so they were checking to see if they had everything that they needed
...I guess it was finish off the chips day. There were 4 different bags of chips/Doritos.
...the boys and I went out to finish up the gear for snowboarding (they got goggles, helmets, and pants)
...we finally got the sidewalk/parking pad re-poured to allow for more parking

...this was at Marshall's. It reminded me of when I used to wear this in high school (yuk - too strong for me now)
...Michael and I went out for Valentine's Day a week early to beat the crowds. We had fun. We went to Outback Steakhouse (cause Michael wanted a steak), Old Navy (where we got the boys v-neck t-shirts as a surprise), Marshall's (where we 'paid it forward' to a college girl who did not have enough money for her journal-that she uses to take notes in church), and Target.
...Lily was barking at Michael who was out back with Zena, so I put Lily in her playpen...ha ha ha
...I made special food for the Super Bowl 50.

...we had cheeseburger and grilled onion sliders, boneless Buffalo chicken bites, Rotel and cheese dip and tortilla chips, Buffalo Chicken and cream cheese crescent rolls, veggie tray, and cheesecake bars
...I did some organizing in my room
...I removed a bookcase that was in the corner by the closet. I moved it to the boys room.
...the boys went to the Trampoline Park
...Cam got some new hiking boots
...the boys and I cleaned and organized their room. We removed the big bookcase and put in a smaller one. It looks so much better.
...I did a lot of organizing this week. I love clean and organized drawers and shelves.
...You really can't see it in this picture, but I cut off their curtains and hemmed them.
...Michael brought me home a rose for Valentine's Day...so thoughtful
...and he brought these home for the boys cause he knows they love frosted sugar cookies
Other highlights of these past few weeks:
- Michael worked a lot of hours - he had a lot of stress at work
- John came over to work out with Cam
- I watched lots of Presidential debates
- boys went to a friend's house from church to play video games and hang out together
- Cam did Power Point slides at church (he was training)
- we watched our favorite shows together...Last Man Standing, The Middle, The Flash, Shark Tank, American Idol, Girl Meets World, and Downton Abbey
- Michael and I watched Making a Murderer together...it was fascinating
- Michael worked on car stereo systems (subwoofers and amplifiers and wiring)
- We ate a lot of take-out because of my organizing the house (no time to cook dinner)
- We watched 2 more of our Bible A.D. series
- Michael said "backwind" instead of "rewind" when we were watching Super Bowl commericals
- Cam started going out once a week to take photos of nature and animals (mostly birds)
- we watched Bridge of Spies together - we loved it
