Thanksgiving 2014

Thanksgiving was spent with family at Mom's church gym and kitchen area. It works great for all the family to get together.  We had a good time with family...eating, talking, and playing games. The food was delicious as usual.

The kids played lots of games together...basketball, four-square, and Apples to Apples.

My sister and her family were not able to make it this year. We missed them...the boys sure missed their cousins.

The leaves are falling down...

The leaves are just now falling off the trees. Today, the boys mowed the grass to clean it all up.

Spicy Shelf

My spice cupboard was driving me crazy. In order to get a certain spice out, I had to take all the other ones out in front. It was terrible.

I researched and found what I thought to be the best organizing tool...called the spicy shelf. Yesterday I put them together, and I really love how it all works.

Thanksgiving in a Bucket

This concept is really cool, because it helps you to be able to store your leftover Thanksgiving food. If you don't mind mixing your food, this concept will work great for you. I just don't like my food mixed together.

Cam's Birthday

We had a fun day for Cam's birthday. I cannot believe that he is all grown up. It seems like just yesterday he was born. He is such a wonderful young man.

This morning, he went out to the Library and to get some coffee.

He opened a box from Grandma. He was excited about that.

I wrapped his presents for him. I remember how excited I was to open presents when I was a kid (Hey, I still get excited to open presents).

We had lasagna, carrot casserole, and garlic bread for dinner. We watched America's Funniest Videos, as well as Mr. Peabody and Sherman.

We had chocolate cake with peanut butter icing for dessert.

November Fun

I have enjoyed two good magazines for November...in regards to the Holidays. I also love the new quotes we put up on our dining room wall.

Michael's favorite dessert

Michael loves Mock Eclair dessert. Every time we have a get-together somewhere, I make this. We got together with family last week, and I made this.

Christmas Card Planning

I love Christmas cards, but I sure do hate picking what photos to use and what Christmas card to choose. The choices are endless when it comes to the Christmas cards. Last week I finally chose our Christmas cards. I can't wait to get them in the mail.

Blogging

I absolutely love blogging. Sometimes I do not have much time to fit it in, but when I do blog, it just makes me so happy. I love to look back to see what I have written about in past posts. I usually do my blogging at the dining room table.
